Referral Fees
Wood & Pilcher are pleased to offer our customers a range of additional services to help them with moving home. None of these services are obligatory and you are free to use service providers of your choice. If you decide to use any service we have recommended, please be assured that this will not increase the fees you pay to the service provider, which will remain at the amounts quoted directly to you.
Should you choose to use a service provider recommended by Wood & Pilcher, we will receive the following referral fees:
- For referring customers to Domus Finance we received 25% of the procuration fee paid by mortgage lenders in the event of a successful transaction. As the amounts involved varied according to the lender and size of mortgage required Domus Finance customers will receive confirmation of their fees upon instruction and confirmation of the amount as soon as it is known. We receive an average fee of £204.00 per case referred, upon completion of the sale.
- Wood & Pilcher can also refer clients to a wide range of surveyors that operate within our local areas from which we occasionally receive vouchers given to individual staff, however these amounts vary and can not be estimated in advance.
- If you decide to rent a property or buy a property to let, our lettings department receives fees for recommending tenant insurance products and the utilities services to landlords and tenants via Goodlord. The benefit to Wood & Pilcher is £24.00 per successful switch of utility, £50.00 for media commission sign up, £10.00 for broadband commission and £10.00 per policy, for tenants contents and liability insurance, all subject to VAT.
- For no deposit plans, we refer to a company called Reposit, from whom we receive a fee of 15% of one week's rental from any successful plan put in place.
